Last post for the weekend. Rock it.

He is now big enough to sit in this little rocker that used to hold dolls in my room. I think it actually has a longer history than just with the dolls. He kept holding on then scooting to the edge like he was just going to walk off!

Jackson's 6 month Pictures

We had Jackson's 6 months pictures done by a friend. They turned out so lovely. I am just over the friggin moon about them.

Created with Admarket's flickrSLiDR.
There was a 40th birthday party for my Aunt Cori this weekend and we got the chance to hang out with some fam! Here are some shots that made me laugh.

High Chair

We finally decided to open the box containing the high chair. We have been feeding Jackson using the ridiculously named Bumbo chair and it was working just fine. But he likes to twist and turn and I am afraid he was going to topple over, with his little thighs stuck in the plastic chair! So, with a heavy heart, we got out the real high chair. He is just getting so big. This was a weekend of a couple firsts and I just can't help but to feel a little sad at how fast time is passing. But also happy that our little boy is growing and thriving. Faster than we can keep up!

The straps look like suspenders.  Ha.

A perfect place for a book!

Oh man. Look at our little one.

Father's Day

For Father's Day we went to Brad's Dad's house for lunch, fishing and some pool time. The pool pictures may kill you dead they are so cute.  You have been warned.

Look what happens when the laundry is all done

More fun with blocks

This time we used the entire bag!  He delighted in it until he face planted onto the pile of blocks.  Despite their numbers, these are edited from a larger number of pictures taken that afternoon. Ha.

Bath

Bathtime has always been one of my favorite activities with Jackson.  In the beginning he screamed and carried on, basically hating the bath.  Then we got the Fisher Price whale tub and he went from hating the baths to basically loving the water.  Like most infant tubs, it has a little support bump in the bottom to help keep the baby supported while they lean against the back of the tub.  Well the day has come to remove that little support as Jackson is handling sitting up on his own quite nicely.

The quality of these pictures is not the best but it illustrates just how much Jackson has changed since late last year.
