Jackson's 2nd season of kickball

It is also Brad's birthday!  And it was also 95 degrees!  Jackson cried each time Brad went out onto the field.  It was cute/sad.  You can see him literally clinging to Brad in one of these pictures.  Ha!  Here are a few phone pics from this afternoon.

This face says, It's HOT.

Clinging.

McNair Park in St. Charles

Making girlfriends

Leaving Trader Joe's

Updates

Now that the weather is warm we are trying to get outside more. Between all the rain we are having we have managed to get to the park or play in the front yard a few times this Spring. Here are some pictures of those escapades this morning.

Ambassador

So Jackson doesn't have much stranger danger which is both good and bad I suppose. He will see the neighbor in their driveway across the street and he start towards them, waving and smiling. He does this at restaurants, parks and at Trader Joe's. We continue to say that he will grow up to be an ambassador to something.

He has also started interacting with the television. He says goodbye to Elmo, DJ Lance Rock and Jack of Jack's Big Music Show when the shows are ending. It's hilarious and very cute.

The other morning Jackson and I were playing on our bed when he turns to me, hands me the toy we were playing with, slides off the bed and runs to the kitchen. I was a few steps behind him and when I arrived in the kitchen he was hanging on the fridge door handle. He wanted his milk which he knew was in the fridge. While I know he is learning all this stuff I am still almost shocked when I see him make deliberate choices.

Jackson is almost 18 months (next week!) and this will be his last non-annual baby checkup. While I am happy to save on copays, I personally like going to see our pediatrician and having someone that knows what they are doing (ha) check up on my baby.

There hasn't been much narrative updates, mostly because pictures are cuter! But this is a tiny little update. More pictures to come!
