When we told my mom that we were having a baby she had a gift at the ready. And that was hilarious. The gift was an original of a doll I had growing up. It was in Jackson's toy box and I thought I would bust it out for pictures. He seemed to like the plastic face but that is about it. It is one of those dolls that talks when you pull the string. So I tried it out and it sounds pretty demonic. I guess it is 30 years old so this is okay. He looked surprised like what exactly is that?? Meanwhile I looked at it like JESUS WHAT THE H WAS THAT?
OMG. This is the funniest thing ever to me. Granted she's no Sophie, but she's still adorable 30 years later. I suggest we try reintroducing them at a later date!!
ReplyDeleteI also laughed when I "pulled her string". I wondered briefly if we had scarred you as a child. I felt better when I remembered that you two were so inseparable, that we replaced the old with a new while you slept . . .probably 1/2 a dozen times!
