It's been awhile!

Mama and Jackson walking into the doc!
Sorry for the radio silence!  It's been nuts trying to keep up with a now walking, 15 month old Jackson, the holidays and a series of sicknesses in this house!  I will try my best to post some things from the last months but right now, let's get you up to speed!

Jackson is officially walking. We have finally put shoes on the kid and off he goes! We are getting to the point where he is crawling less and walking more.  He has started to repeat just sounds of words.  He knows that his socks go on his feet and his arms going in his coat.  He knows that he hates wearing his winter hat even though it looks ten kinds of adorable.  He says bye bye to Toni, our daycare provider and to the other kids as they leave for the day.  He loves blueberries and still eats squash.  He won't eat potatoes  (whose child is this?) and likes to squish his goldfish crackers.  Which is both funny and messy.  He has quite an aim as he manages to launch and land food right onto the dog.  The dog appreciates the part where he gets table scraps but isn't amused by first having to wear it.

Jackson has been hit with his first ear infection - both ears!  I suppose we are lucky to have gone this long without any serious miserableness for him but this weekend has been tough on all of us!  Even though he is  not feeling well, he is still so damn charming.  Brad said to him, "Jackson, you are going to be alright with the ladies." This is likely spot on.  More later!
